Hitachi 14231 Dimensions

Hi all, can anyone give me the dimensions fo the Hitachi 14231 alternator, I stopped at the local O Reilly's auto parts but they didn't one in stock, what I'm wanting to know is the diameter and length thanks

2/3s the diameter, and adjuster ear to pivot is close to 2 inches smaller than a Delco 10SI Metric ear hole and pivot holes can be drilled to fit US
bolts. Jim

Thanks very much guys that's the numbers I wanted, I am refurbishing a John Deere LA and didn't get a generator with it so am looking at alternatives I have a nice Motorola alternator and its smaller than the Delco and it will fit under the hood but its really tight so will check to see if the Hitachi is smaller or the same.

MNGB, If you are looking for a smaller Mini alternator, I have a 45 amp Denso. that is 5 1/2 inches long, about 4 inches in Diameter. The bolt holes are about 6 inch apart. Give me a call for more information. five zero seven- 438-8172 CharlieU
