New guy with questions

Hello all, new guy from Nebraska I have my grandpa's 706D with a cab and I'm trying to figure out how to mount the dual 325 loader to it. Does anyone have any pictures of mounts to get this thing attached. Thank you for any help.

If I'm not mistaken, that loader is for a cabless tractor. It mounts to the rear axle, and uses 2 'pipes' to secure it to the front. So you will need to remove the cab,or buy a loader made for mounting on a cabbed tractor.

I have a Dual 325 on my SMTA. as mentioned below it mounts to the axles and then has a round support to the front frame. I don't see any way it would work on a tractor with a cab. I got a copy of the operator's manual from Woods I can email it to you if you want to see for yourself.

Just keep in mind that these older tractors are NOT wheel loaders or skid loaders. Yes, they can do a lot of work and you can add a grapple, but be careful not to over-stress the frame. It was designed more for pulling implements and less for FEL work. They also usually run at much lower hydraulic pressure than today's machines, with some makes/models topping out at 1,500 PSI working pressure.

IIRC, the 706 should be able to go a bit more....maybe to 2,250? Maybe someone else can chime in on that - that may still be a little high.

Farm Hand and Du Al and others have a short armed loader for 706's. Sorry i dont remember any of the numbers, Visit your local dealer and see what he has in stock for used loaders. What part of Neb. are you from? I am on US 81 but in SD
