Looking to put a 7.3 idi engine in farmall M if someone has done this please chime in with some info thanks!

There are a couple videos of a gentleman on YouTube that has done this. I believe him to be from Canada, and he did a VERY nice job. Link below.

Cool project. I'm currently installing a 7.3l powerstroke on an f20. It's been fun so far.
