Loader ID??

Can anyone ID what loader this is? I am not up on my loader types. My dad just picked up this H from a sweet old lady who's husband just died. Everything on the tractor and loader works!

We probably will want to sell the loader as we already have an H with a different loader on it.

These are the only pix he sent me.

What model is it and what might it be worth to someone?

Thanks for the info!

Another thing that is nice/handy with those 'old' 45 loaders is they are a 'quick-tach'. Look closely at the mounts. If you're lucky, the stands will still be around.Just unplug the hose from tractor, undo mounts, back away.

Just realized one of the pics didn't some through. Here is a better view. Still say it's the JD loader?

I wouldn't sell it. At least not yet.It may be a better loader than the one you already have.Set out back 'behind the barn' on a pallet. You can always sell it later.

I've seen a few of those #45s mounted on Farmall Hs. I honestly do not remember that the bucket extended so far out in front of the tractor. The tractor would be much happier if the bucket was much closer to the front. Easier steering, much better traction.

Local fertilizer plant had an identical rig.Only their's had power steering.Had a bigger(hydraulic) bucket. No telling how many million tons of fretilizer that outfit moved. They probably still have it.

The stands are still attached to that loader. You can see right side stand tilted down from it's storage position.

The long boom length is needed to get enough lift height. The front edge of the bucket drops a lot when the bucket is tripped. The long nose of 4010's and 4020's filled up most of the distance to the front cross member.

The #45 loader was from the era of the John Deere A and B. We had a #148 loader on a 3020 and later moved it to a 4020. I'm pretty sure that a 4020 could probably destroy a #45 unless extreme caution was used.
