Doing some test runs with the SMTA, progress thus far has been a new alternator, new wiring harness and cleaned a ton of gunk out of the fuel tank and rest of the fuel system.
I notice when I idle the tractor maybe 3 notches up from low I am getting a fast clicking from the reservoir block under the fuel tank. This is heard over the engine/exhaust noise. The live hyd pump is silent though.
I am guessing I could be low on fluid but I'm currently not sure how to check level? On the left side there's a breather port and an upturned pipe elbow with a pipe plug in it. I am guessing the latter is where I would put in new fluid (Hytran?). Sorry I don't have a current picture. The operator pull rod for the hyd block is pushed all the way in.
Thanks for your help!
