farmall 300 one wire alternator

Use a 10 gauge wire from the alternator output, to a 35 amp fuse (heavy duty) or a fuse link, then directly to the amp gauge load side, not battery side. That is it. Jim

Just did a Super M, easy directions, use the A wire off the generator to go to the back of alternator--Field wire no longer required at alternator so just tie it back. then on voltage regulator hook all wires together except "F" field wire tie it back no longer needed. Then switch the connections on back of amp meter. Turn coil 180 and attach wires so negative wire goes to the distributor. Change light bu;bs to 12 volt and change battery to negative ground. If you still have an IH coil you will need to put a resistor before the coil so it drops the voltage to coil.
