I want to order a rebuild kit for mt carb and I'm not at all sure what kind I have. It's from a 52 Super A
Thanks

you need to identify it your self. we cant see the numbers. look for little round brass piece on carb with the numbers. i am presuming its the same deal as the m's have. dont have model A'S so not sure on that. you need a carb number to get the correct kit.

I'm guessing if you look a little closer you'll find Carter on the end and if you do there're nothing to be proud of. I had the Carter on my Super C apart about 5 times a year for 10 years and put a Zenith on it finally. Been perfect since.

You can see the number on the flange of the carburetor. Looks like "O-553" or "O-653" like what gab pictured. If the picture were taken from a little closer we could read it clearly.

A quick google search for both of those numbers, along with the word "carburetor," yields that it is probably O-653, because O-653 comes up with the carburetor kit listing at external link Parts. O-553 does not come up with any tractor listings.

A quick google search of "O-653 carburetor" yields a listing for a rebuild kit for a Carter carburetor at a well-known tractor parts website.
