Hello all. I always thought that when he bought our 1586, second hand, that a lot of stuff was missing off of it. For example, there were no doors. Since then, though, I have seen other examples of 86 serious tractors that also appear like his; honestly they don't even have door posts! Can someone enlighten me on these tractors, like, were they a reduced cost series of 86 tractors? Or were the doors just removed along with the door posts? Thanks, Hugh

Large frame 86 series were offered two ways in North America:

1. Full cab
2. 4-post ROPS

Not "reduced cost" but simply optional equipment.

The ROPS can be outfitted with a glass windshield and vinyl side curtains to make a sort of "weather cab" to keep some of the weather off you in the winter.

They are very different if you compare pictures.
