Oil pressure

Started the tractor (C123 motor) and it's reading about 1/8 inch past the red mark on the pressure gauge.... good bad ? My M had numbers this one has a section of red to the left and white to the right

To see what the oil pressure really is install a gauge with numbers

As long as it's in the 'run' zone,it's good.

Is that cold or warm,my 123, had oil pressure like that too, but now it got 50 lbs warm, my bearing were shot and oil pump cover had grooves in it too.

In fact i built a two gauge holder, like a M has got, put a temp gauge in one, and put a T in the oil pressure line on the other, but i think that engine is going to need work soon !
