656 rear lifr lever

We have a gas 656 with a lot of hours on it. The rear lift lever is now so loose it won't hold its place and slides down - lowering the 2 point. Any idea how you tighten this up so the lever won't move on its own?

There is a friction desk on that lever with the jam not you have to loose unit and turn it and tighten up the spring with the desk you might have to use some heat on it and get the two separated or take the seat off take the linkage off and take that whole Assembly out and free it all up and put it back together it's not fun
