cant find correct size wrist pin bushing help

ordered rebuilt kit for my bd144 engine in the 354 diesel tractor and the wrist pin bushings are to big, i understand they have to be pressed in and honed to size but the od is to big to go in the rods. i ordered another set from another company thinking maybe they put the wrong ones in the kit but they are the same size. the only site i see that list the dimensions list it as the same ones i recieved. i went by the ih dealer today and ordered some there to try will be in saturday. can still read the part number from the old bushing and its the same as on the bag of these new ones.
anyone ever ran into this problem or know where can buy bushing just by sizes i looked on google but didnt come up with but couple places that actually listed them by size. below are the specs
wrist pin measures 1.1022
rod measures 1.155
new bushings are 1.175

the machine shop said he can get ones to fit at $25 each vs the $2 each i gave for these $7 at the case dealer, $100 for 4 bushings just seems way to high if i can help from it.

$100 for the correct bushings purchase through and installed and warranteed by the machine shop is darned cheap compared to not getting this right and having an engine failure!

yes but if i buy the same part number as the originals that came out of the rod it should fit, they either didnt make them right or put the wrong bushing in the wrong wrapper, probly the first.

I would use my lathe to turn down the OD of the bushings. Or you can get the rod honed bigger but then what about next time? Not recommended.

Talk to your machinist again to make sure there is no misunderstanding. Sounds to me like he gave you the installed price. I just paid $100 for a pin-fit for my 460.

Imo, not the place for a lathe. The diametral clearance should be .0005" or less (better @ .0002") with a polished finish which is tough to achieve on any lathe I can think of. I have some for automotive use which are hard as a piece of glass as well, no lathe tool HSS or carbide would touch it.

I realize the tractor is not a high speed engine but I still would want to do the best job possible for the longest possible life.

If the $100 is for OD grinding the pins and honing the rod bushings all to size for all 4 pots when I think this is a very good deal. I would give the machine shop all of the parts to make their own measurements so there is no troublesome issues arising from transferring dimensions between your measuring equipment and theirs.

the $100 is for 4 bushing that are actual size they are supposed to be no machining required, im hoping these i have ordered from the case dealer will be correct.

got the bushings today from caseih dealer and they was the correct size so the aftermarket ones was just made to the wrong spec.
