Can anyone tell me where to find torque requirements for the head on a 1935 farmall f-12?
None of my books seem to have this information. Or maybe it isn't very important???? Rich

I would say use standard torgue specs. My guess is 100 to 115 Ft LBS.tighten in 3 to 4 stages. In those days it was more 'feel'.

I was told there were no torque wench's back than.
Farmall A,B,C, had 113cc engines as does the F-12 to use the torque specs from them.
I believe book spec on 113cc head was 60 lbs and has been updated to 80 lbs in later IT manuals.
I never went over 100 as Delta has stated I think he has specs for H or M.

The machine shop that did machine work for my f-12 engine give me these numbers out of one of his spec books.
Bolt torques, Rods 40-45 ft lbs Mains 75-80 ft lbs
Cyl Head 65-70 ft lbs.
