Changing leaky valve stem on Model 784 rear wheel

I value the info I get on this forum so am asking for some input on those who have changed the rear wheel valve stem on this model (1980 Model 784) or other similar size rear wheels.
I have beet juice leaking out of my one rear wheel so need to remove and replace (R & R) the current stem. Not knowing anything about the leaking stem, is there a recommended stem size or should I just go to the Case IH dealer for such part?
Also anything to watch out for (other than having NO weight on tire and placing stem in 12 O'clock high position with air pressure at zero) when replacing such?
ANY/ALL comments appreciated.

"Take the old one with you as too many types were used"

HUH, Gene, perhaps I've been out of sight under a rock for most of my darned near 60 years, but all I've ever dealt with is two basic types, the older stuff used a "TR CH1" "core housing", which was, at some point superseded by a "TR CH3" core housing".

Most likely the OP needs a "TR CH3" core housing, which he's a lot more likely to find at a farm supply store or farm tire dealer than at the FIAT dealership.IMHO, YAMMV!

Gemplers is one on-line source (maybe this has 'em, as well). They're $2 + shipping at Gemplers.

You are on the right track, just ask for what was posted in the photo, if they say they have different ones, I was only ever told of two types, get both (return unused!)
