New here. I just recently picked up a farmall h 1950. Looking to get a 3 point hitch so I can run a finish mower. Would like to find a used one in the Columbus Ohio are if possible. If not any used places that would ship. Other than that I've found Tony's 3 point hitch but they are about 3 weeks out. Let me know what you guys think.

If you can find a Saginaw hitch they are
probably the best ones made in my opinion,
I believe the gentleman who made them
stopped years ago but you might be able too
find one used, he was out of Saginaw,
Michigan sand still makes canopy for big
tractors. Other than that Google it and
some options will come up for you. They
make a H/M very handy. Good luck, Anthony

People that have them don't tend to sell them, so if you want one ASAP you are probably best off placing an order with Tony's tractors.

Other than that I know of no reliable source for aftermarket 3pt hitches for old Farmalls, especially used. It's not like shopping for a spatula.

If you have any welding skills at all,you can make your own. I have made a number of 3 points over the years. It's not hard to do.just go measure a couple of different hitches, buy the steel and get after it. enlist a friend to help.I built the irst hitch on my SuperM almost 35 years ago. It still works, almost daily. You can do it!!Good luck. Steve.

I was out to the guys who made the Saginaw hitch some years ago, I'm going to guess 2004. Seemed like they were nearer to Flint, but I forget now. They had huge giant barns stuffed full of old used tractor parts. I looked at the shop where he built them, it was pretty basic, as I recall he had a Bridgeport mill, a horizontal bandsaw, a big mig welder, and I don't think he had an ironworker.
