300 single front wheel

A friend has a 300 with a single front wheel that needs replacing. I got it off today and
man is that thing HEAVY. I tried to drive the axle out but only had a little hammer and
wasn't sure how it comes out. Will it drive out of the bearing and then split the rim to
replace the tire? Does anyone have a parts diagram they can post? TIA.
