magneto repair shop

Can anyone direct me to a shop to repair a J4 (cub) magneto. I have one I am beginning the magnets are slightly weak, but do not have the means to remedy that. I have already replaced points and condenser, coil and impulse coupling spring, plus switching coil and coil cover from another known good tractor to this one, with no improvement. Cold it starts a little hard, but hot it starts very hard or not at all. With my spare mag on it (the one I switched parts with) it starts immediately hot or cold.

My OTC spark voltage tester bit the dust, so I cannot give voltage, but using an adjustable spark gap it will give a good spark at 3/8 inch, but weak and intermittent at 1/2 inch. After it runs a while it becomes less. A magneto I have that works well will throw a steady arc at 1/2 inch on the spark gap. As an additional note I have been using it on a tractor I overhauled about 8 or 9 years and having trouble not starting hot, etc. I tried it on one I overhauled abour 3 or 4 years ago and does have more power and it would not start it. I assume the spark was not hot enough to fire with the higher compression. If you will send me your address I will get it in the mail. My email is [email protected]
thanks

hat should have said weak and intermittent at 7/16. MY mind and fingers do not work together sometimes.
