I am putting electronic ignition on my super m -- a fella told me I should use carbon core wires to the spark plugs when using the hot coil -- really? why put a hot coil on and then hold it back with carbon wires? whats your opinion? thanks for the comments in advance! Roy

Your neighbors TV and radio will like the resister wires, the tractor really won t care.

You might be wise to call manufacture of the electronic ignition your going to put on it and get the correct answer.

Is this on12volt I have installed a lot of I have used pertroinc kits coils I have there's and msd ,accell and stock they said it burn up the pickup in the dist. I bought most at nnalert I used there plug wires the carbon core ones The kit will tell you what ohm coil you need

When you install the electronic ignition in the distributor you should use the correct coil to go with. If you don't it will burn out the pickup module.

I have the pertonics kit plus their coil --the insructions do not tell you what you must use or not to use for wires --they do offer there wires for sale tho --and their wire is carbon core -- Roy

Go to Pertronix website question and answer and they say you can use copper wire but i has to be 20 gauge wire.
