If this tractor could talk....

This F-30 was one of the first 500 built, and a 1931 model year according to this site's serial number list.

Looks like a prime candidate for restoration. Thanks for posting.

...Actually, looks VERY nice. I'm not one of those die-hards that can take a bent steering wheel and end up with a fully restored machine. I normally see all the rust eating into the metal. But this tractor looks pretty clean, and surprisingly lacking in rust cancer.

That things looks good just the way it is. Looks a lot like the F20 I am working on (so I really like it a lot)! I love the way the lichens are growing all over it. I intend on driving mine just the way it is for quite a while.

(quoted from post at 03:20:13 06/29/17) looks nice but, what about water going into exhaust pipe?

At this stage of the game, what about it? It's probably been like that for decades now and the engine is hopelessly locked up, possibly beyond repair. Putting a can over the pipe now would just be a token effort.

Unfortunately I am not the owner. The block is cracked on the carb side, and I have no idea how long it has sat out without the exhaust covered.....It is a really neat piece of history though.
