Has anybody ever seen a sight glass setup up, on the reservoir of the belly pump on a M for example, when adding oil its like pouring oil into a tank with a blindfold on. Why couldn't a guy put a T in the the top elbow,which use to feed the corn cultivator, and another T in the bottom plug and reduce it to the 1//4 in, put in some clear fertilizer hose ?
 
Well to be honest i didn't think of it, until i started filling it, and made another mess with that 19.95 @ gallon Hy-Tran, but there's got to be a better way, than guessing how much to put in,and besides that dipstick is wrong !!
 
You could, but it's easier to make a "T" shaped dipstick that sets on the fill tube and just store in the toolbox.

Do some measuring sometime when you have it full to the level you want and make a dip stick.
 
It will of course work for showing the fluid level but the downsides are it could get bumped/damaged by something along the way.
This could dump all the fluid in a fast manner. Also since it goes into the bottom any little drip or weepy leak would eventually drain the entire reservoir.
