856 hydraulics

I have a problem with the hydraulics on my 856 they don't work at all and my three point hitch won't go down I suspected something to do with the draft draft lever moves back and forth but don't seem to make a difference any help would be appreciated

Take the top link cover off look inside there see if the sensing finger went past the draft control finger

Not trying to make anyone look like a idiot but just to clarify what IHTimmy means by "top link cover" is the attachment casting for the top 3 point link.
