I know this has been posted many times- but here is my "2-cents". I ordered a set of decals- they are the 3-M kind....that stick on when you pull off the back; very hard to get straight and not forgiving at all. Hard to work with; also is the "McCormick-Deering" decal ; with "Farmall" under this - is this the correct set for a "1944" ? That's what I was sent for my year. Anyone with pics of a "1944" model , or similar year, would be helpful. Thanks guys.

Spray Windex on the area where the decal will be applied. This will allow you to move the decal around a bit until you are happy with it. You then need to squeegee out the air bubbles.

Your H would have the early decals like this H in the picture.

You most likely have what is commonly called on here the mylar decals. If you spray the area with windex, and slowly peel the backing as you apply it, it will allow you time to adjust it. The Windex keeps the decal from sticking.

(quoted from post at 18:52:00 06/22/17) Would still like to see someone's "H" where all the decals go- battery box? rear end? etc.....thanks!

I own a 1950 H that has never been repainted. Paint is basically GONE, but all the original decals are present. Problem is that the decals are just shadows. I've tried getting pictures, but never had any luck.

Hundreds of pic on google. You just have to weed through them for your specific decal. I wil say the battery box decal is not the right one, (Unless they have been reproduced now) and most just leave it off. For exact locations, maybe someone here with Guy Fays Originality Guide can help you. I have the book, but its buried in the attic somewhere. IIRC, it doesnt list the H, but the Super H is the same.
