I was moving my Super A around this morning, focusing on other tasks and I was hearing the engine load a little bit and the sound of the rockshaft moving. The liftall raised to full upright position on its own without action by me.
I have a Woods 59" L503 mower on it, normally the control lever is locked in the "full down" position with the lift chains slack so the deck can float.
I thought maybe I bumped one of the "stops" for the control lever but I found it still locked in original down- position. Moved the stop and cycled the lever thru the entire range of motion, no response from the hydraulics.
I also tried moving the other control lever for the other side of the rockshaft (its not connected to anything) and it was also unresponsive.
I don't think I have leaks, I've cycled both sides successfully before thru full motion, maybe 1-2 years ago, when I was greasing the rockshaft. Going to check fluid level next although I don't hear any gear whine or other indication it could be low. Without digging out all of my literature I wondered if anyone had suggestions. I have never done any work or service to this part other than topping off fluid maybe 5 years ago.
