Super MTA Leak

I have a Super MTA that I have had for about 6 months and it sits in my shop. It had a small leak where the rear axle housing meets the rear end housing. Now the other side has started to leak also. Is there a gasket set to buy for these or is it to make one. I've never taken one of these apart. Is there any hidden surprises I may need to know about before I tackle this? Thanks for any help.

Gaskets can be bought from caseih. Will need
to remove the hubs, and transmission cover.
In order to remove the axle housings and
install gaskets you will need to remove the
bull gears. It is alot of work and labor
intensive.

If you loosen it enough to get it clean and dry you might be able to use some Case IH flange sealant in there and believe me it will work> I have seen quite a few axle housings sealed to the rear with this stuff its
good and will not run on verticle surface

I changed them on my H. Dealer suggested cutting the gasket at the top and sliding it in. On my H I removed the bolts and it did slide a little bit - enough to clean the area and put in the gasket. Mine never leaked afterwards.

No you don't , Ya remove the tire and wheel and ya pull the PTO and go thru the PTO to remove the retaining bolt out of the end of the Axle and let the bull gear drop down when the axle comes out . Ya need a Cherry picker to handle the axle and housing , tire and wheel .
