So I am sitting on the fence about the show and need advice. It is a bout a four hour drive to get there and would like to go but the wife who I'd like to go with can't get off until 11A.M. Saturday she also has appointments starting at ten in Rochester. My legs are O.K. for a short while and it appears the rentals are all taken. Here is the question Can I see enough of it in a few hours to justify going knowing that looking at tractors and equipment would be my preferred things to look at? A swap and shop would be good. Ideas..

Have you ever been to a RPRU before? I'm coming from Western Canada because the love for Red tractors! First time went was 2012 in Southern Ill, then 2014 in Huron SD. Then last yr in Racine Wi. I was blown away with the first show, so much to see it was overwhelming. The grounds are open till 8pm each day. Buildings are closed at 5pm. I cant decide for you, but its only since its 4hrs away I vote yes.

I see now that the way my sentences are structured I did not do a very good job. Friday I could leave and maybe get there around 2-3. Saturday she needs to be in Rochester MN around ten so staying over into the next day does very little good. Also was kind of wondering how far things are spread out because arthritis and knee problems keep me from walking too far.

Me, I'd go in a heartbeat. Again. Wonderful time, don't miss it, take lots of cash, nothing better to do than spend cash at RPRU.

Published schedule looks like things start closing down around 2:00pm Saturday. I've read that lots of displays fold up and move out well before that.

Well...I'm about TWO hours away and - once again - something last minute has come up (actually SEVERAL things) to keep me away. Probably won't have the opportunity to get to one again, unless it comes back to MO or Iowa. I live 2 hours from Sedalia, MO, too - and missed that one at the last minute, too. I've never been, so I'm not real happy. If you can possibly make it - go....

Let me give you an idea of RPRU. At Sedalia, I had my choice of shutters for my "H", very economical too. Bought the best ones, only $40, and they work perfectly. I bought many old "H" gages, they all work, for my "H". Bought Cub Cadet parts, I spent several days, and never got a chance to see it all. Food excellent. People excellent.

Work Wed night into Thursday, took Thursday night off but will need to sleep sometime. Wife works Thursday and has Fri-Sat off but has appointments both days at 10 A.M.I could come Friday but would like to do this with the wife so could probably make it around 2 in the afternoon, which is sorta late to do much. Although without a golf cart it probably would be as much as I could do anyway.Probably Friday only.

So my wife rescheduled the appt on Friday and depending how early we get up should be down there around 8-9 or early in the morning. Hope the weather is good to be outside.
