Removing outer tie rod from inner tie rod assembly

Trying to replace the outer tie rod assembly, but can't separate the inner from the outer tie rod tube assembly.
Any suggestions other than a strong vice, pipe wrenches, and heating with a torch.?.
Otherwise, it may be easier to just buy/replace the entire tie rod assembly for $100. (outer tie rod was only $27).
Thanks!

Tractor is IH 454, swept back front axle. Pics of tie rod assembly below.

Heating with a torch is the only way. If you don't already own a torch, just buy the complete tie rod assembly. It will be cheaper than buying a torch set.

Lay the tube on a anvil and use hammer all along and around tube, plus penetrating lube. Then use the vise and pipe wrench. No heat required.

Hi, we did one on my brother's 454 a few years ago. Took the complete arm off, sprayed with penetrating oil, secured it to his log splitter and used hydraulic pressure to put tension on it and tapped with a hammer to loosen the rust. The one on his 684 required heat to loosen. BECAREFUL if you are using hydraulic force.

yes as pete says, also have used air punch to vibrate them loose.
lots of penetrating oil also.

I went through that a while back with my SMTA. Finally got one outer end apart by using a hydraulic press, penetrating oil and heat. But... tube had a slight bend. When I pulled off the one on the other side it also had a slight bend. I decided to buy 2 new complete units. I think I paid about $80 each but I worked for a couple days on the one I got apart

I might have missed what tractor, but does it have power steering? I tap plenty to break the bond, take out the bolts, and put a piece of 4x4 between the spindle arm and the tractor frame rail. Then I start the tractor and use the power steering to do the work for me. I have had to heat them on tractors that had set out and been wet many times over.
