My first IH collector tractor was the 1949 WD 6 I learned to drive on. Still my favorite, and does well in the pulling events. What diesel pump does yours have? Darald

nice straight tractor, those early ones have the bosh pump on them which are hard to find. even still has the battery box cover as most of those get lost. curious about the seat though, as its not ih. monroe i believe it is like the massey's have. i learned to drive on the w6 at 6 years old.
the W6 was a tough tractor and one of the most trouble free other than the odd valve job, and gave better service than the 9 series.

Not that I have a say, however thats one possibly should be left just as it is. Good looking old machine. as original as possible.
