Farmall 400 Rear Light

I have never seen this problem before. I installed a new rear light on my 400. It comes on in the 3rd. position of the light switch. I also installed 2 new headlights. They work like they are suppose to. Dim on the 1st. position, bright on the 2nd. position and stays bright in the 3 position. The problem is the rear light will not come on now with the switch in the 3rd. position since I put the headlight on. I switched this tractor from 6 volts to 12 volts 10 years ago and all was good.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Thank you,

standard 400 should have a off, dim and bright switch. Rear light wire goes next to dimmer coil terminal on one side and front lights on terminals other side of dimmer coil.

Thank you, I will pull the switch out and rewire.
