I am looking for a source for cutterbar guards. IHC part #MC1024. The local farm stores don't have them.
Rather pricey at Case IH. Thanks.
 
Just to help widen the scope of your search, you needn't confine yourself strictly to McCormick guard assemblies. My No. 12 mower has Ford, Oliver, some no-names I got from Farm and Fleet when they were around, as well as McCormick. The ledger plates may not interchange between brands, but the manufacturers seem to have gotten together on a standard bar/guard arrangement. Contact Frank at Rice equipment. He has access to a company that deals with NOS purchased from dealers.
 
Do a bit more looking. I have one of those and I buy all the guards and section I want at the local Orscheln's and I have also found them at TSC and other such places. Plus many of those places will order stuff in for you and many have web sites you can order direct from them
 
I did find the guards at TSC. But they only had 3. I needed 23 so they ordered them for me. My mower had a assortment of guards on it. 2 of one kind 3 of another and so on. None of which were right. Came out of a fence row a few years ago.
 
The one I have came out of a fence row also and came with an A that had hit a tree and when it hit the tree it broke the A into 3 or 4 parts/pieces. So I then took 2 parts Bs I had and the A and built my BA which is the front of a B and the back of the A
