Hope Update, April 26th Edition

Hello all, it's Hugh McKinney, and I'm at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Everything has gone smoothly, except for one thing: my hemoglobin is low, too low to do my first treatment. If the head doctor refuses to order 2 units of blood, then I'm knocked out of the treatment, and that means going back home to last as long as I can. Please be prayerful about this, as the doctor seemed to truly dislike me. I just want to get the immunotherapy and get get well. Thanks to all, Hugh

Hope they get their act together and get you your blood and it works out for you. Some doctors are just jerks.....

There is always hope, aided by prayers, and good doctors.
There is also more than one good doctor. If yours seems to be a jerk,
consider he/she might have had a stressful day. Look for another doctor
and another opinion. Prayers are with you. Rev. Kris

Hi Hugh. Not exactly great news. I would guess the Dr. has some very poor bedside manners and is not singling you out. My prayers are out to you and your family. Always remember you are not alone, in that He loves you and is with you always. Allan
