I did some searching for that auger flighting, and there is a co, that can make any size available down to 1 inch,, but if it's a special order it going to be higher priced, because of the set up, but a 3,inch od, with 3 inches between spirals, and there would be a 1 in open core down the center on that for example, it's $3:35 @ foot, American, which is reasonable,i think. All i guy would have to do, is to tack on top and bottom, so it wouldn't vibrate!! That's what i found out.

Tacked at top and bottom will rattle like a can with a ball bearing in it in a blender. I would measure where the flights will land and drill and tack weld them on each flight. Jim

Jim is right. The muffler I bought for my truck was just welded on the ends. There was a certain RPM where it would vibrate like crazy. I was able to easily remedy that by putting an exhaust clamp around the midbody. That wouldn't look very nice sitting up above the hood though.

What is the name of the company you found?

Thanks,
Dan

It is Washburn Company, LaMar Mo. 69754 I talked to Bruce, really acomadating ,I probaly will have to put some risers in there tack them to the flighting, and drill a hole in the pipe to tack to the wall, or something .
