H Belt pulley assembly....

Looking for the "fill plug" on the hydraulic reservoir; don't see a "fill plug" on either side...there is a plug on top of my belt pulley housing - is this it? Thanks.

No, it should be on the same side with the control arm, on top of the torque tube, looks like a bakers hats, to quote Jim.

Ahhh. I remember that term....I will look; so belt assembly pulley has its own reservoir? I assume the Bakers Hat -has a dip stick on it?

Not quite, the baker's hat [ good term ] has the dip stick underneath it, you unscrew the hat then lift out the stick. As I recall, there's 9 1/2" down from the top washer to the FULL mark on the stick.

yes....looked like it was separate when I pulled it out.... 30 wt oil? If its dry...where did it go? Thanks.

I found that my H belly pump used oil whenever it pumped to a leaky hydraulic cylinder, that spurted a spurt every time I raised the cylinder. Pretty soon, no oil left.
