IH 444 Weight

My Dad has an IH 444 with an IH 2000 loader. Does anyone know the combined weight? I need to trailer it soon.

I did some internet searching, found info from other tractor forums that the IH 444 GAS = 4000 lbs, and the IH2000 loader is 1000 lbs.

Does this sound about right?

Yes, for the bare equipment with no fluids, no options, no bucket, no weights, no driver.

Figure on at least 2000lbs more than that. It may sound like overkill but since you can't weigh the tractor, you're better off overestimating by a little than underestimating by a lot. The rear tires hold close to 1000lbs of fluid combined, for example. Each rear wheel weight adds 150lbs per side. So you've already eaten up 1300lbs of my estimated 2000lbs right there.
