Frame Rails

Yes but the front bolsters being different make the MD tractor longer than a gas by about 1.5 inches. Some frame rails were made to work on both and some missing some of the holes drilled or dips for clearance in the rails as some diesel ones.

Worm shaft length originally longer on diesel. Some hand cranking parts different. Bolsters look the same but if you notice where the frame rails bolt to bolster the casting is extended back where the rear 2 bolts go compared to a gas. Also moves radiator mounting forward. Since the diesel engine is longer the same depth fan enclose is used on gas and diesel. MD and SMD bolsters are the same size as the SMTA tractors of all fuels without the corner holes. That's why the hoods are longer than M and SM tractors.
