I need to switch positions of the two reactor bands on the rear of the live pto on my tractor. Before he died, my neighbor told me that my reactor bands probably needed to be switched places when the adjustment had all been used up on the pto drive ban, assuming they hadn't been switched before. Does anyone have any advice about how to remove the rear unit of the pto? I have a 3-pt unit that was added after I bought the tractor. Would it need to be removed to get to the pto? A mechanic at case-ih said he could do the band switch for me if I took out the pto rear unit. Thanks for any advice.
