Farmall A front hub lube question

The lube chart says put a couple pumps in and or until old grease is pushed out. I put about 1/2 a tube in each hub and it isnt coming out anywhere? It looks like it should squeeze out at the bottom of the big tube that has the hub mounted to it and the axle as shown in picture?
Where can all the grease be going? Or is it just dry?uploading picturescertificity.com

no tellin when the thing was greased last it has to be near full to only to take a couple pumps to squirt out.

I apologize for incorrect terminology. Each wheel has a grease fittng right in the center of the hub in a cap. Those are the ones I am referring too. Do I keep pumping more grease till it comes out the areas shown in the picture?

Theres a huge cavity between the outer and inner bearings to fill with grease if you are not going to pull the wheel and hand pac each bearing.

It might be better to simply pull the wheels, clean everything out thoroughly, inspect the bearings and hand pack them. You don't need to fill the cavity with grease. All that does is waste grease and make a mess later when you do need to pull the wheels.

To calm your nerves, the grease is in there. It didn't go through a black hole into your wife's underwear drawer or anything like that :) If it's not pushing out somewhere, the cavity simply isn't full yet.

Gene: Using the picture above, the vertical tube has a grease fitting and grease should come out at the bottom of this tube?? The horizontal spindle/axle (where the wheel rides): does it have fitting to grease the bearings on the inside? I have a 51 Super A and don't see any grease fittings to grease wheel bearings. Can you enlighten us with more information on this? Thanks. Pembroke

Thanks for all the replies gentlemen. I was briefly concerned that I was either losing it or that I'd have to clean out my wife's underwear drawer

I drilled and tapped front hub caps of farmall B. My B was used with a loader and got into manure and water and went through new bears and
seals every 3 years. After putting grease zerks on it haven't had to replace a bearing or seal. The grease comes out back side makes a seal
that dirt and water can't get into bearings. I got idea from the John Deere's we had that all had grease zerks on them and w never had to
replace any bearings on them.
