400 Farmall lost hyd's after oil change, need help please

I drained the hyd tank, put in new oil. Now have lost power steering, lost all scv's. I read the owners manual, said to rev engine up a bit. Then to cycle the handles on the dash 10 to 12 time to get air out. I did that, still nothing. Could I take out the tank breather & force air pressure to the system? Was thinking like 5lbs or so. I have a gauge can control air pressure with. Any other ideas? Reason why I changed the oil, just brought the tractor used. Seller owned it for 10yrs, didn't know when was last serviced, etc. Thanks for any help.

Pull the hex socket plug on top of the hyd
pump to let the air out of the pump, I've
had them airlock down there after draining
the oil and refilling as you did. Check your
pump, see if it's hot. It shouldn't be hot,
that won't help the pump out at all.

Oh yeah, after you pull that plug on top of
the pump, if you don't have any oil gushing
out, pour some hyd oil down in the pump
through there, then put the plug back in and
start it.
