340 Utility wiring harness

I just purchased a 340U with newer paint and rubber, and a 12V upgrade already. I'm pretty happy with the tractor (overall) and I'm intending it to be used for blading snow and lifting things with a boom that are too heavy for me to lift by hand.
That said, none of the lighting works, and the wiring harness appears to be pretty cobbled up. I'd like to see if/where I can find a replacement harness to wire up to my GM alternator and still fit everything else. Ideas? I'm really hoping to learn from other folks' experiences rather than start from scratch myself. My serial number is 3635, telling me it's a 1960 model year. I might try and find a 2000/2001 loader for it at some point.

Tractor wiring is very simple. I make my out wiring for tractors from scratch. You have a wire for ignition, then 3 wires for the alternator but one is so short it is almost not there. The if you want lights you have a wire on most for power since the lights ground at the socket

I'm just kinda worried, since it all runs along the fuel line and exhaust... and it's just flopping around in the breeze.
It does appear to be pretty cobbled up, but most of it works. I suppose that's something. My hope was to find something that's "stock-looking" and be able to swap it right in, one terminal at a time. Not that I'm incapable, but I'm short on spare time for starting from scratch. How do you typically start off, if I have to make one myself?

I pretty much remove all the old wires and then wire it back up. Ignition circuit is a simple wire from the switch to maybe a ballast resister then to the ignition side of the coil, Alternator wiring is a wire from the charge stud to the amp gauge. The #2 wire on the alternator goes to the charge stud. Then the excite wire goes to the ignition switch or as I do I go to the ignition side of the coil since most of the time that saves wire

Brillman will have a harness for a IH 300, 340, or 350. These are going to be pretty much the same
harness. The Wire from the Bat terminal on the Generator might need to be extended to attach to the Main
Alt output. The the Field wire could be repurposed to terminal ! on the Alt, and attached through a 10
watt10 ohm resistor or a diode to the ignition side of the ballast resistor or the key side of the coil
if no resistor. Jim

Thanks kindly, the Brillman folks have one that's already modified for the 12V conversion too! $185 seems like a lot of money but it sure would seem cheap if the tractor got on fire because I didn't fix it... I would definitely feel better if it were all cleaned up and done right.
Thanks a bunch, guys
