F-30 high crop wide front

I got asked if I was interested in buying an old F-30 that has been out in woods for quite a while. Did they make any F-30 wide front high crops? Got some pics I could send if someone could help to tell me if this is worth saving.

Don't know if any high crops were made, but I do know all f-30s had drop axles on the rear, if that is what you are looking at and wondering about. Drop axles on rear are normal and suppose to be that way. If high crops were made, the drop on the rear axle would be more drastic, and the wide front would likewise have a bigger drop. A rubber tire conversion would of likely required the front end to have a bigger drop to make the tractor remain level. So its hard to tell what you are looking at without doing some measuring or posting some pictures.
Wether or not its worth saving depends on the overall shape of the tractor and how complete it is. For what its worth, if this tractor is to far gone, the rear end and front end can be put on a different tractor. Not much ever goes wrong with them from just sitting around. The engine is pretty much what sees all the damage from sitting outside for years.

Just an F-30 wide front is worth saving. They did make some taller versions for sugar cane with arched front axle or taller spindles I think and maybe 42 inch rear rubber? Someone else with more knowledge will probably chime in on this . You can probably find some pics in the gallery to the left.

Please post pictures if you can. I would enjoy seeing it. Farmall Land museum in Avoca, IA has one I believe. Really neat tractor, it would definately stand out at any show.

Yes, I've seen the one at Avoca.

There are actually 4 variations of an F-30 cane. Post some pics and I can tell you exactly what you have.

Cane prices (along with most things) have fell off a lot in the past 5-6 years. a complete cane in decent shape can be had for around 4 to 5k now
