DT414 low oil pressure

Anyone ever have any oil pressure issues with these DT414 motors in an IH 1086? Motor runs great, very little blowby, no smoke, motor runs and sounds good but has low oil pressure
(5-10 psi at idle and 45 psi at pto speed with a hot motor). Put in new rods and mains and installed a wet gauge, no change at all. 4073 hours on the engine. Thinking about changing out the oil relief valve. Could the pump be weak? Any suggestions appreciated.

Low oil pressure also could be caused by cam bearings being to loose . And ok so you installed new rod's and mains but did you p;asta gauge them to see wht you had for clearance ?? . just some things to think about .

Oil pump drives off the crankshaft on those. Its bolted to the front of the block. They can defiantly wear and there are a couple seals and o-rings in there that can leak. Remove and inspect it.

What's the IH spec? 45 at rated rpm sounds about right to me. Idle is a little low maybe.

Well, the relief valve made no change in the oil pressure. I didn't plastigauge the rods or mains, just replaced with new ones from CIH. I don't plow or do anything with this tractor except for moving hay and bush hogging. Looks like the next move will be a new oil pump. I currently run 15w40 in it. I was considering going back to the factory 30wt. Any thoughts on this? Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.

I either have cam bearing issues as Tractor Vet mentioned earlier or I have a crack and have produced an internal leak. Not sure at the moment what direction I will go from here, just wanted to give everyone an update. New rod/mains (1 rod bearing slipped 1/8" but never totally spun) and the all journals looked good, new relief valve and a new oil pump but no real improvement on oil pressure. The warm idle psi is12 psi at 600 rpm.
