Farmall 140 Water Pump Bypass Hose Size

Does anyone know what size and how long the bypass hose is for the Farmall 140 water pump? It is a small hose. I can't get the Case/IH parts site to work (must be down) and I'm not near the shop to look.

Much help is appreciated.

Doesn't matter. The parts site doesn't give any information on the hose, just says, "hose, by-pass."

I would just take a calipers and measure the inlets to get a diameter, and buy a foot of hose that diameter. Then cut it to length when you get to the assembly phase. Then lose the rest of the hose so when you need another piece, you can't find it anywhere and have to go buy some more.

I would have done that but I was an hour from home and was at the parts store buying other stuff. The Case/IH dealer I use (Ken Updike) was nice enough to find the correct size for me. He stated that it is 1/2 inch ID. I will post back to see how it works out when I reassemble.
