Farmall A grader blades.

Is there any information out there on the front and belly mount, manual lift grader blades for Farmall As? I would like to get a manual grader for my 46 A, but there is little info let alone any sale offers for them. Also is there a listing for all the various attachments IH sold for Farmall As?

you should get manuals from Binder Books. The last time I saw info on front grader blades was in an old 2008 Steiner catalog. They had some parts listed for these blades. Pembroke

The name of the blade for the A is - McCormick 1A-60 Leveling and Grader Blade. There are lots of them and the manuals floating around out there still, very common.

By manual, I mean the non hydraulic lift grader blades that are lifted with a manual lever. Not so much the book manuals, btw do the book manuals cover both hydraulic and non hydraulic blades? Thanks for the info so far.

The A-60 (later 1A-60) blade wasn't built until after the Super A was out, thus designed primarily for use with Touch-Control. They had a hand lift package (lever, quadrant, and linkage) to allow use on a non-hydraulic tractor.

The blades are fairly common, ones with the hand lift package not so much.
