Need info on these

I recently got my dad's cub. It has a lot of attachments. I do not know what these 2 pieces are for. I think the larger piece fits under the belly of the tractor. May be part for the planting operation.
The smaller piece, I haven't got a clue.

The big one is part of a Cub-172 planter, mounts as you guessed. By the way, it is misassembled. I don't know the other part. Another picture from a different angle (that shows the portion we appear to be seeing the edge of) might help someone ID it.

The one small red piece appears to be a shoe from a long lost push blade that may have been a part of your dad's Cub accessories.

" Jen Sales" is a mail order publishing house in MN. That firm carries just about all catalogs and information on tractors, etc. Each line entry carries the Make, part etc.

I don't know how the ordering works today, as I got my catalogs by ordering them over the phone The order was more than 20 years ago

Got some more pictures. I think the small part previously posted is for a Covington 3 point planter. I found another part in the barn that looks like the two go together. Also attached a small sweep to the small piece. The Covington planter has a cast steel piece on it now. I believe the welded/bolted assembly is just a replacement for the cast steel piece.
