F12 Parts - The Things in Sheds

I went looking through some old farm sheds today and found these. I believe Farmall F12 mudguards/fenders and an elbow for the coolant system. The elbow has grey paint on it and the number 3099-D. I have not seen this elbow before and my book shows part number 3099DAX and says Crankcase water inlet elbow with 1/8" pipe plug (not Electric Lighting and Starting).

Further searching is indicated…

The squared off edge of those fenders indicate they are the first of 3 styles they had. earlier ones are harder to find from what ive seen. The water elbow is also an early piece given only the D suffix.

Thank you! To the best of my knowledge these parts came off a tractor bought in late August 1934. I do not know why the elbow was removed from the tractor as it seems to be in excellent order. Perhaps updated to the one with a threaded plug?

The one with the threaded plug allowed for the addition of an engine temperature gage to be installed.

shipping is gonna kill ya mike.....lol

he's down under

So true. Shipping is becoming more and more expensive. There are hardly any Farmall regulars, F12s, F14s, F20s or F30s to be found down here. There must have been some around, because various IH implement books have pages devoted to different types of hitch for them all. I found the long starting handle/wrench for F12 as well, part number 30011DA. If I keep digging through parts I might build up a whole tractor!
