Question about A/B/Cub models

This is probably a dumb question, and I'm only asking because I've not been able to find an accurate answer, but here goes:

Are all Cubs, A's and B's off-set tractors? I know that IH sold them as "cultivision", but I don't know if they were all made that way or not.

I ask, because I have a pair of H's, but want a smaller toy to play with but really don't like the offset style. I know the C is smaller than the H, but not by much (maybe 1000lbs or so I think).

Just curious.

thanks,

The B and BN tractors are not offset. The BN is ~14" narrower than the B. Which is quite wide. Both are 2 wheel or one wheel
narrow front tractors. The C and Super C Farmalls are the same (engine trans) size as the A and B with different gearing and no
drop axles, for bigger tires, A "C" Farmall is proportionately smaller than an H as an H is to an M. The B-BN has no hydraulic and
as such is a bit more primative. The A and Super A are offset. Jim

Thanks for all of the replies, I appreciate it. I suppose having grown up with H's and M's, I prefer the symmetrical appearance as opposed to the off-set look.

If the C is the only smaller IH model that shares the same appearance, then that is what I'll look at.

thanks!

Yeah, what gene said. But to clarify, the B and BN had a centered engine/transmission with the seat offset to the right.

I really do know the B-BN were not offset, in the sense that the drive train is symmetrical about the wheel base. I (for sure) understand that the seat and steering wheel/pedals are on the right. I assumed,(mistake maybe) that the OP was referring to the geometry of the structure, not the seating. Jim with a chuckle.
