Here are some picturesof the mounted lister planter that I bought last week. I know that I am missing some lift-all pieces, especially the cylinders. What other pieces are needed. I think there are two 1" steel pipes that somehow hook to the axles. What does the other end of the cylinder hook to? How about the 2 "arms" that go in the keyhole shaped holes beneath the belly pump? any help is appreciated, thanks Greg

Only parts I see missing are the standard axel brackets for a "C" or "H" or "M". You have a set for the plow in the background. Angles should mount to the axels with a standard bracket and the arms mount into the rockshafts at the front, unless this planter was intended for a pre hydraulic "H" or "M". In that case it would tie into the manual lift. Lift All was the name for the pneumatic lift used on the "A" and "B".

OK, this planter is (i guess) for an H or an M. If this is so what do the lift rods hook to then? One of my problems is that I know nothing about this at all, just going by what I see. thanks

Looks like it mounts to the drawbar axle brackets. I have a pair of rods hanging in the shed I think goes to something like that. There is a casting under the belly pump that has T-slots in it that these fit in for something.

Would you consider selling those rods, or maybe getting me dimensions of them and I could bend my own?

with those arms sticking out the front and the slight curl at the ends I would say that that planter is made to work on a farmall C/SC as those rods would hook to the rockshafts of the touchcontrol lift

It looks like an HM-46 Corn Lister. The C-46 looks similar but has built-in axle clamps for the 6 sided C axles. The C-46 also only has one lift rod on the left side, not one on each side like this. Built from '41 to '53. Looks like galvanized seed cans, which suggests an older unit.

To lift it, you probably need a pair of lift-all cylinders and the crank shaped parts the plug into the keyhole shaped holes at the bottom of the lift-all unit.

after seeing pic's and replies below i'll stick to my reply on 9-8 @ 18:33. basicly same as dad's lister which was originally on a 1950 C and C brackets hung on a tree when he traded for M in 1953, new mount brackets were purchased @ that time also cultivators were traded. leroy

Checked out pictures on Modern View and agree about "crank shaped" pieces and lift-all 1-way cylinders (Down is by weight).
This has discs for making the furrow. Mine has solid v-shaped metal for making furrow. I have seen both types "Back in the day." Mine was mounted on Dad's M.
Add-ons included chemical dispensers and fertilizer dispensers.
