Have a 1948 Farmall C Rear tires are worn what's
on there now are 12-4-36 what is correct size Also
what are front tire size Thanks for the help

The original Operator's Manual for my 1953 Farmall Super C states that three different sizes could be ordered for the tractor which were 8-36", 9-36" or 10-36" four ply agriculture tires. My tractor still had what I believed were the original tires which were 9-36" and are now called 11.2-36" in the new measurement system that was later adopted and still in use, Hal.

The old 9-36 would be today's 9.5-36 and the 10-36 would be an 11.2-36. Basically the measurement changed from being the width of the tread face to the overall width of the tire sidewalls.

When tested at Nebraska the Farmall C had 9-36 rear and 4.00-12 front tires.

What is your rim width? Rim width (and diameter) will determine which tire sizes you can use. Most tire manufacturers publish recommended rim widths for each tire size.

DCPKY, where are you? I have a new looking set on a C here in SW MO. that I'd let go reasonable, the whole tractor for that matter. It's stuck and incomplete. gm
