Ok, I'll try to describe my issue the best I can. Replacing Oil pan gasket on a gas 560 Farmall. on the back of the block there is two black plugs/nipples that were in two holes. I pulled them out because the kit came with two new ones. Is there a trick to get the new ones in? Soap? any assistance is appreciated.

Well i use a special tool for the installation and engine assembly lube . This TOOL can be made with a 1/8th inch welding rod . Mine was made into a tee handle for ease of handling and the tip that i place into the holes is rounded smooth so not to tear or poke a hole . as to what welding rod to use i just used the rod i use most for welding and mine was made from a 1/8 inch 7018 , i broke off all the flux and wire brushed it clean and shinny and fromed the tee handle .
