It's been a 35 years since i was around my dad when he did this so I can't remember how he did it. Some how he did something so that the hitch had down pressure. What did he do? Install a pin In a different location or switch something on the I control valve? If I remember right he could put. Locks under the hitch and lift the tractor. Am I dreaming?

Under the bottom of the lift cylinder there is a cast bracket. It has an obvious pin hole in it (3/4 I think) that when in it has
down pressure. when out it floats. Jim

You were correct. I have found the 3/4 hole and it makes sense that it will do the trick once I put a pin in it. My issue now is that the piece inside does not line up. I think I could get a 3/8 pin in right now. Something is keeping it from line up. Maybe I can take a air hose or water this week end it see if I can wash out some dirt. Thank you for the help.

As I recall, ours never lined up-Dad would push up from under the cylinder and work the pin in.I think I may have done it a few times myself.Mark

Wear on the various parts can make it not line up. I would put a bottle jack unser the fast hitch draw bar and lift it to align the hole. Jim
