400 fast hitch parts

What other model of farmall tractors with fast hitch would have interchangeable parts for a 400's fast hitch? 460 and 560? Thanks!

There are two differing fast hitch systems for the 400 and 450 tractors. One has a tilt control cylinder on the wishbone shaped
front attachment point. The later system uses a psudo load/traction control system with a hand lever and notches on the left side
of the platform, and no front cylinder. IIRC the 560 system is more like F 350, but larger and not compatible. Jim

The short answer is none.

The only tractor that came with a fast hitch like the 400 is the 400. The 300's fast hitch is a similar design, but it is smaller everywhere except for point spacing and point size.

When IH went to the 450 they completely changed the design from depth control to traction control. Again the only thing that's the same is the point spacing and point size. Again the 350 hitch is a similar design, but smaller. This design carried on to the 560, and there again the 460 design is similar but smaller.

If you have the FH with the cylinder on the side the answer is none. If you have the one with a single cylinder in the rear it's
the same as a 450 and 560.

Forgot to say the one that bolts to the top deck only works on older 400's.

Just a follow up to this topic, the parts I need to replace in order to complete my 400's fast hitch are the same as a 560's according to the part numbers listed on the Case/IH parts website. Thanks to all you season veterans in Farmall restoring for helping newbies like myself.... I'm learning!!
