SMTA tie rod apart

thanks to all the suggestions I received. now if I can just get the other one apart...new tie rod end does not want to go completely into tube, looks like toob may have a slight bend. can those be straightened or will they jut colapse? thanks again for all the suggestions
 
A press is just about mandatory.
Oak v-blocks on the ends & a jig made for
drilling round stock on top.
If no jig available, another oak v-block
5 to 6 inches long on top.

As Vet says---a little at a time.
Go a bit past straight & then check progress
with a straight-edge.
